Final Task:Video

This is all the hard work put into a 2 minute video. I am extremely proud of how far we have came alongs as I group as well as individually. In the beginning of this year, we had no expiernce of filming. Now that the years is coming to a close, we can all say we had 3 different types of films under our belt. This video is something we are all proud of. Each scene and step were chosen withnpassion and drive to create an amazing film. In the future, we will all continue to use these new skills. These skills are very broad and can help in many day to day scenarios. I hope you all enjoy the film and it shows you the hardworking it took to create.

Finally me and my group have finished our film. From now on there will be no changes big or small made. I am very impressed of the outcome of our final product. It has taken many hours of planning as well as actual doing to complete this project. I could not have imagined doing it alone and am very thankful for my group members. It was easy to work with them because we are all close friends. This video took blood, sweats, and tears and lots of hardworking to make. I am proud to show everyone our amazing project. This project is our best by far and can not compete with the others. It has all the good aspects of a good film and more. To see how far I've come from the first blog and commercial is astonishing. The amount of progress I've made in this short time can only be taken to the next step. I am additionally proud that Cambridge will be able to see our project. They will see that we have a talent for film making as well as filming. I want to continue to pursue filming as it

Final Task:Coming to a Close

Today marks the day that we have officially finished filming and editing. It has been an enjoyable experience to say the least. I have learned lots about all the types of camera angles, editing, and so on. I would never think that my own two minute film would turn out this good. Before this year I had little experience on anything about filming and editing. Now I can say that I have created commercials, as well as music videos, and even my very own opening scene. I am so grateful for all of the things I was taught and will carry it with me forever. I learned which and when specific camera angles can be used. This now changes how I watch movies, because I am now aware of the purpose of all the different angles. As well for editing. How hard and time consuming it is, but it ends up worth it. Arguably the most important, good editing takes film very far. On the other hand, a movie with good camera angles and bad editing is an overall bad movie. I am now also aware of the fact that pickin

Final task: Peer improvements

After receiving beneficial critiques from peers we decided we needed to make a few changes. First starting off with the things we originally wanted to fix. This was to make longer scenes and have fewer cuts. Since none of us are professional actors, we struggle keeping it together. We burst out laughing and ruin the scene. We took this project super serious so we kept straight faces and made fewer cuts. This process seems way easier said than done, and it is. To film most of our scenes took a very long time. After refilling another negative critique was us occasionally glancing at the camera. Luckily for us, when refilling the longer scenes we fixed this problem as well. This process was extremely trying and took us close to the whole day. The worst part about refilling our scenes was the fact that we had to reedit. The reediting took a long time as well. We had to add all the effects we had before, as well as keeping it at exactly 2 minutes. Before cutting extra parts of scenes, we h

Today we had a special requirement to help improve our films. We were told to give our final products do a different group. The people in this group would watch and them give helpful critiques. They told us some of our flaws, and things we can improve on. They enjoyed our film overall, but gave same good suggestions in ways to improve. One suggestion was to have less cuts and film longer scenes. When originally filming, I thought of this, but it was hard to obtain. Since there is now another group suggesting this, we will work on this and fix it. Another suggestion they had was to not glance at the camera. Occasionally me and the others in the group would look at the camera at the end of the scene. We did not realize this and this helped us open our eyes. Not only were there bad critiques, but some good as well. Some good critiques included our actions. While filming we worried our acting was too stiff and didn't bring out the story. Luckily from others point of view it was not ba
