            After completing research for 3 different genres, we had all the information we needed to decide which one we would be using. This decision was not a simple one since this would be a very crucial choice for the entirety of the film. Therefore, we decided on making a film on Sci-fi. Sci-fi not only is enjoyable to watch, but also has endless outcomes. For other genre s such as horror, there is a very well- known plot that every movie covers. The main character gets chased by the antagonist and eventually survives and kills it. Sci-fi allows us to be unique and creative and truly create an original film. Furthermore , having no boundaries. was extremely important to us. Additionally sci-fi is straight forward to film. The camera angles are generic with occasional overhead shots to show the landscape.          Common camera angles in the comedy genre :   Establishing shot, extreme close - up, long shot, point of view shot, two shot, and tracking shot.   Common Mis- en -Scene in comedy:   In comedy there are lots of different approaches when it comes to the Mis- en -Scene. Really any prop or costume that will surprise the audience works for comedy. They can be filmed anytime, anywhere.   Common editing aspects in comedy:   Lots of jump cuts, over-extended scenes , and cross cuts. Common Mis-en-Scene in the horror genre: Some common props in horror films are knives, crosses, machetes, chainsaws, axes and masks. Horror movies also often use dark lightning and are filmed in a common setting such as the woods or a dark house. They are also  always filmed at night time.   Pitch 1: Two friends have a horrifying experience in the woods, when they encounter a bloodthirsty creature just as all their flashlights stop working.   We really liked the idea of this pitch. When brainstorming we were set on creating a scary and thrilling film. We like the i d ea that they are stranded at night with no lights and being chased. Sadly, trying to film this is an extreme challenge. We would need an excessive number of props and CGI that we cannot get our hands on. In the future this film idea will not be as much of a challenge. Be nefits of this film are that we all live near the woods and have access to the woods.  Picking groups, a very important part of media. After doing very well on my last project. I decided to keep my group from last time. This is with Zane Knapp, Cayden Mctighe, and Luke Hamill. We are a very good group and work together well. We all have different skills and create good projects. Zane is a good actor. He was the main actor in the last film and it turned out great. Luke is a great videographer. He also mainly helps plan out the film and what scenes should be filmed at which points. He extremely contributed in the last film and its creation. Cayden's main role is creating the storyboard. He keeps us on track to create a good film and make sure we hit each needed criteria. I specialize in editing. I helped edit the last film and I enjoy doing this. We all work together well as a group. Every time we work together we learn more about our skills. We are a great team and will make a great two minute film.

  Hi, I am Ely Silverberg and I am in 10th grade. After completed my two previous projects I am excited and ready for this last one. I have learned as an editor, videographer, and actor. In the two previous projects I learned new skills and lessons to help me. I am super ready to crush this assignment. I have a plan and ready to try my best and make an insanely good two minute intro. I am 15 and can drive soon. This means I can not incorporate me driving in the movie. When I was little I never enjoyed taking photos or acting. After experiencing it for real I definitely have a huge interest to pursue filming. When I was little I always enjoyed editing. Whether it was music or films I always explored new ways to create edits. This project helped me explore an opposite side of editing. As well as editing for a true purpose.
